This report provides an analysis of key FinTech transactions in the period and associated trends as well as quoted company valuation metrics which can serve as an indication of trends in the pricing for private transactions.

The second quarter of 2022 saw 142 transactions in the FinTech sector, of which we are highlighting 93 in this report. The overall number of deals has remained consistent with the previous quarter remaining below the hot heights of 2021.

This represents a 13% slowdown on a one-year spot basis – far less than the global 30% slowdown in M&A activity demonstrating FinTech businesses are still in high demand.
